Juvenile found alive after fallen off from his Jet Ski at Lake Isabella

On June 16, 2019, around 4:40pm, deputies from the Kern Valley Substation and Lake Patrol units were called about a missing jet skier at Lake Isabella.

Deputies learned the male juvenile had fallen off his jet ski in the middle of the lake.

Lake Patrol and Kern Valley Search and Rescue located the youth, and returned him to his family at the shore.

He was wearing a PFD (personal flotation device). His safe rescue serves as a reminder of how important a life jacket is when you’re on the water.
