Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor prompted the park to announce an evacuation

A brush fire erupted at noon and was burning near Interstate 5 along Old Road and Skyview Lane near Magic Mountain Parkway, officials said. By 4 p.m., the fire had burned 40 acres and was 20 percent

On their social media Magic Mountain Tweeted, “Six Flags Magic Mountain and Magic Mountain Hurricane Harbor are currently closed and will open tomorrow, June 10, as scheduled at 10:30am.”

Also the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s are informing and advising to residents that the Fire season is here,
