AJCC to Host Job Recruitment for JVS So Cal GAIN Service Worker And Case Managers

PALMDALE – The America’s Job Center of California (AJCC), located at 38510 Sierra Highway in Palmdale, will host a recruitment event for JVS So Cal GAIN Service Workers / Case Managers in Palmdale on Tuesday, June 4 at 11 am. Qualified applicants must be able to provide participants with a clear understanding of the program and their respective role; motivate, provide encouragement, and support participants in successfully completing each step of the program; serve as the primary linkage between the client and the program regulation services; refer participants to the appropriate program component based on appraisals, test results, and program policies, and advise participants of program choices. Position requirements include having a bachelors’ degree or AA degree with 2 years of case management experience; ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; exceptional time management skills; must be accurate, detailed oriented and possess good follow-through skills; must have good business writing and communication skills; ability to work as a team member and independently; familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook); and type 40 words per minute.
