Palmdale Playhouse to Host Theatrical Makeup Workshop

PALMDALE –The Palmdale Playhouse, located at 38334 10th St. East in Palmdale, will host a three part theatrical makeup workshops on Saturday June 8, 15, and 22 from 9 am to 12 noon. The three part workshop will cover the basics of stage makeup and cool special effects for the stage or for fun. Sessions will focus on basic stage and old age makeup, animal and fantasy makeup, and horror and special effects makeup. In the final sessions, students will bring their own ideas and learn the best way to make it happen. The workshop fee is discounted to $45 for Palmdale residents and $56 for non-residents. Students must purchase their own supplies.
