The CHP arrests 346 impaired drivers during the first hours of Memorial Day

The California Highway Patrol has tweeted this Saturday evening that they had made more 346 DUI arrests statewide during the first six hours of Memorial Day weekend. 

At least eight people died in a crash within the first six hours.  

There have been 741 DUI arrests by CHP in the first 30 hours. 

The CHP will conducting a maximum enforcement period through Monday evening at 11:59 p.m. for Memorial Day. 

There’s no excuse for driving impaired. Stay Put. Call a cab or ride share co. Arrange for a sober driver in advance. Stop putting your life and the lives of innocent people at risk.
