Lake Los Angeles Park Association preparing for 2019 Election

Lake Los Angeles - The Lake Los Angeles Park Association (LLAPA) is now accepting nominations for the Board of Directors. There are four director positions and two alternate positions to be filled. You may nominate yourself or someone else.

Applications will be available at the monthly public meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Requirements to be a Board member are: 1. The candidate must own or be purchasing property within the Landscape Lighting District #2 Zone 45, within the boundary of Lake Los Angeles. 2. The candidate, if renting, must have a letter from the owner authorizing the tenant permission to act in the owner’s behalf. Anyone that qualifies as stated above and in accordance with the By-Laws of the LLAPA can be nominated or volunteer to be a candidate for the Lake Los Angeles Association Board of Directors (LLAPA). To turn in your application, you may bring it to the September 10 and/or October 8 Board meeting in the Community Room at the Lake Los Angeles Community Gymnasium at 7:00pm. If mailed, it should be sent to LLAPA, c/o Post Office Box 500088, Lake Los Angeles CA 93591. All applications must be turned in by Tuesday, November 12, 2019 prior to the election meeting at 7:00pm.
