Crazy Rich Asians Featured at Mid Week Movie at the Palmdale City Library

PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., will host a showing of the featured film Crazy Rich Asians (2018) rated PG-13, on Wednesday, May 8 at 5:30 pm as part of its Mid-Week Movie program. Admission and popcorn are free. 

Rachel Chu is happy to accompany her longtime boyfriend, Nick, to his best friend's wedding in Singapore. She's also surprised to learn that Nick's family is extremely wealthy and he's considered one of the country's most eligible bachelors. Thrust into the spotlight, Rachel must now contend with jealous socialites, quirky relatives and something far, far worse -- Nick's disapproving mother. The library hosts a free showing of featured films every Wednesday evening. Movies scheduled to be shown in May include Creed II (2018) rated PG-13 on May 15, The Young Victoria (2009) rated PG on May 22, and Robin Hood (2018) rated PG-13 on May 29. This program is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Palmdale City Library. The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week.
