Three Antelope Valley Union High School District Board members face possible recall.
A group of dissatisfied constituents with the Antelope Valley Union High School District Board of Trustees, has taken steps to start a recall process for three of its five members.

Many parents and district staff are not satisfied with the latest board decisions on contracts with three or more agreements.
This are the steps on the recall process, This can happen if someone who's registered in the district obtains signatures from at least 10 percent of the district’s registered voters in a petition and a majority in a recall election. LA County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, signatures must verified as being from eligible, active voters who live in each of the district board of trustees and whose addresses match voter records. If the petition is found to contain an insufficient number of valid signatures to qualify the recall for the ballot, no further action is taken, and the petition remains on file. ( LA County Recorder) The recall proponents will then have 120 days to collect signatures. After County Register Recorder has verified all the wording and gives the green light to continue with the recall process.
