Multiple state departments including the DMV and EDD experience an outage which was cause by a hard

Official statement release  from the DMV on their Twitter Account announce their system had a problem and many offices were impacted throughout California. 

“DMV offices were impacted by a connectivity issue this morning from a hardware failure at the state data center operated by the Dept of Technology. Multiple state depts impacted, including DMV, EDD & others. Issue was remedied around 9:30. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
