Carnival in Lake Los Angeles in March

Lake Los Angeles – Sorensen Park – Yes! The Schoeppner Shows Carnival is coming to Lake Los Angeles the weekend of March 15, 16 and 17 courtesy of the Lake Los Angeles Park Association (LLAPA) and Friends of Lake L A Park.

Each year the LLAPA negotiates a contract with Schoeppner Shows to bring the carnival to Lake Los Angeles which always proves to be a wonderful event for the community and fund-raiser for Friends of Lake L A Park.

The advertising done up to this point is reaching Littlerock, Pearblossom and other north and south, east and west communities to join in on the fun according to replies on Facebook pages.

Schoeppner will be setting up the Monday before bringing equipment into the field. The tear down will be late Sunday night and early Monday March 18.

The equipment for amusement rides and games will be age appropriate. The adult rides use a 60ft circumference while the kids’ rides use a 35ft. circumference. The games booths will be 15ft X 15ft. There will be a ticket booth cash only due to limited internet interface. There will be 24 tickets for $20, $1.50 for 1 ticket (most rides take 3-5 tickets) and a $30 wristband per day.

Friends will have their very affordable snack bar. There will be music by DJ Scarleth, Mark Jojola and the Boomers and Carlos Dias.

On Sunday a special for the kids will be the return of the ever-popular Fitness Challenge!
