*UPDATE* Homicide Detectives Responding to 700 Block W Avenue K, Lancaster, regarding found dead bod

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of an adult. The body was recovered on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at approximately 2:40 p.m. at a WinCo Foods Supermarket. The individual was in advance stages of decomposition. Homicide detectives are awaiting for the positive identification of the body by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. They are able to confirm he is a male adult at this time. Homicide detectives have learned the individual may have made his way to the roof of the location and down to the column where he was found deceased. He may have been stuck there and unable to get out of the column. It is unknown how long the individual was in the column. The investigation is on-going and there is no further information at this time.
