Palmdale City Library Introduces Baby and Me Lap Sit Storytime

PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., will host a new Baby and Me Lap Sit Storytime on Saturday June 16 and 30, and July 7, 14 and 21from 9:30 to 10 am.

Baby and Me Lap Sit Storytime is designed for babies 0-18 months old who are not yet walking. Care givers are encouraged to interact with their baby, and it is a great opportunity to socialize. Participants may bring a toy or blanket to help the little ones settle in.

“This is a great chance to get together and share songs, stories and laughs in a safe nurturing environment,” said Youth Librarian Jamielee Beck. “We’re so excited to offer this program, and we look forward to seeing you there!”

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
