New Classics Book Club at the Palmdale City Library

January 23, 2016

The Palmdale City Library is proud to announce a new “Classics Book Club,” which will hold its first meeting on Monday, Jan. 25 from 7 to 8 pm at the Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd.

The “Classics Book Club” will meet on the fourth Monday of every month. New members are always welcome, and this month’s title is Nostromo by Joseph Conrad, the story of colonialism in the fictional South American country of Costaguana.

“Ever feel like you’ve missed out on great literature?” said Library Director Thomas Vose.  “Come read and talk about some of the finest books ever written!”

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
