Calling all Antelope Valley youth! Auditions will be held one day only at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of Peter and Wendy. Auditions are on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 4 p.m. the LPAC (750 W. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition, no advance preparation is necessary. MCT will cast approximately 50-60 local children to be in the show as well as serve as Assistant Directors. Rehearsals will be held throughout the week, with performances on April 22. The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props, and makeup. MCT Tour Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week for approximately four to five hours each evening at the LPAC. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. Children auditioning and their accompanying chaperone (one per child) should arrive at the LPAC’s rear entrance by 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay until 6 p.m. Selected cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full hours of rehearsal time will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner, or snack. There will be two performances for Peter and Wendy on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. (school show) and 7 p.m. (public show) at the LPAC. The students in the cast will be called for dress rehearsal before the performances that day. All cast members must be available for both scheduled performances.
