Lancaster’s BLVD Association is currently accepting applications from restaurants, brewers, and commercial vendors for its first-ever Bacon, Blues, & Brews event, to be held on Saturday, May 14 from noon to 9:00 pm. This unique event, sponsored by Antelope Valley Harley Davidson, will feature a wide variety of bacon-themed delights crafted exclusively for the event by a range of restaurants, including BLVD businesses such as BeX, Double D Cupcakes and the Brooklyn Deli as well as eateries such as Upper Crust, the Zodiac Grill and Plush Puffs. In addition to these bacon-packed tastes of deliciousness, the event will include craft beer and live music, featuring blues alongside rock.
Restaurants and chefs from all over the Antelope Valley are invited to participate in Bacon, Blues & Brews and compete in the “People’s Choice” chef’s challenge. The event will provide an opportunity for restaurants to build their customer base and showcase their product to a projected crowd of 4,000 – 5,000. To participate, food vendors must have the ability to produce a minimum of 1,500 sample portions and the product must feature pork.
“This is the largest event ever hosted by The BLVD Association and is shaping up to be nothing short of incredible,” said Myrle McLernon, BLVD Association President and co-owner of Kinetic Brewing Company, which will be involved as both a food vendor and craft brewer in the event. “This is an excellent opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses.”
Vendor booths for non-food vendors are available for $250. Food and brewer vendor spaces are available free of charge and carry additional requirements. Vendors will be provided with a 10x10 canopy, a table, and electricity.
Limited space is available and spots are filling up quickly. All vendor applications are due by Friday, April 22nd. For more information or to sign up, contact Juliana Alvarez or Katrina Carlson of Absolute Event Solutions at (714) 550-9700 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
