The Fandomverse Expo Now Meets Monthly at the Palmdale City Library

The Palmdale City Library is pleased to announce that the Antelope Valley’s own Fandomverse Expo will hold its monthly meetings at the Library every second Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.

These meetings are free and open to the public, and celebrate gaming, TV, media, comics, cosplay and many other things. The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14.

“We’re glad to be partnering with the Fandomverse Expo,” said Library Director Thomas Vose. “We hope that the Library can become a community meeting place for fans of great shows, games, books and movies!”

”The Fandomverse Expo is more than a convention, it’s a philosophy,” Vose said. “Its goal is to enlighten, inform and entertain while celebrating all areas of fandom: anime, comics, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, gaming, costuming and more.”

The people behind the Fandomverse Expo believe that “fandom” means “community;” a place where people can come together with those who share our love of characters, stories and ideas. ’No matter if we’re celebrating a new release, mourning (or cheering) a character death, watching ship wars rage endlessly over the internet, or just sitting back taking in the show, fandom is an experience made all the better when it’s shared,” adds Vose.

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
