1 arrested after deadly Littlerock car crash


Littlerock, California - The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports the arrest of an individual following a devastating motor vehicle crash that resulted in the tragic loss of two lives.


The suspect, previously arrested for driving under the influence (DUI), has been taken into custody on similar charges.


On March 3, 2024, at approximately 1949 hours, CHP Officers responded to a report of a severe traffic crash on Avenue T, east of 110* Street East. Upon arrival, CHP Officers found two vehicles involved in the traffic crash, with one of the involved drivers displaying signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage impairment.


Sadly, the crash resulted in two fatalities. The CHP extends its' deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those lost in this senseless tragedy.


The suspect, whose identity is being withheld pending further investigation, exhibited signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage impairment following the crash, and was subsequently arrested.


This individual has a history of DUI offenses, heightening the severity of the current charges.


An investigation is currently underway, and more details will be released as they become available.


This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of driving under the influence. The CHP reminds the public of the importance of responsible driving and the severe consequences of choosing to drive under the influence.
